Anette Spahn Klausen

EVP Communication Partner at Novo Nordisk

Anette Spahn Klausen is the EVP Communication Partner at Novo Nordisk. Anette has been with the company since March 2018 and in their current role, they are responsible for driving the communication of business strategies, projects, changes and challenges. Prior to their current role, they were the SVP Communications Partner and before that, the CVP Communications Partner. In their previous roles, they were responsible for translating business strategies and challenges into effective communication plans and activities, ensuring professional change communication, and developing, preparing and maintaining campaigns and VIP visits on site. Anette has also been responsible for internal communication at Fagerhult and PA & Communications Partner at Novo Nordisk.

Anette Spahn Klausen has a Master in ICT (information & communication technology) and learning from Aalborg Universitet / Aalborg University, a Project Manager certification from Ledernes Kompetencecenter, and a Project Manager certification from Probana. Anette also has a Journalism for information officers certification from the Danish school of journalism, a Master of Arts in Music & Communication from Aalborg Universitet, and a Journalistic Supplement (Tillægsuddannelsen) in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Danmarks Journalisthøjskole. Anette Spahn Klausen has also completed one semester of Chemical Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark and has a Laboratory technician certification from Laborantskolen Rådmansgade+Institute of Forensic Medicine. Anette also has a GCSE in Math/music from Virum Gymnasium and is certified by the Peak Consulting Group in PRINCE2 Foundation.

Their manager is Marcus Schindler, EVP for Research and Early Development & Chief Scientific Officer. They are on a team with Rasmus Rabøl - Corporate Vice President, Translational Science and Medicine, Jesper Bøving - Senior Vice President CMC, and Karin Conde-Knape - Senior Vice President, Global Drug Discovery.
