Anna Uryga

Anna Uryga is a Department Manager at Novo Nordisk with a focus on vascular biology in cardiometabolic diseases. In their previous roles as a Specialist & Scientific Lead in Cardiovascular Research and Senior Scientist, Anna was responsible for proposing and advancing early-stage targets within the cardiovascular therapeutic area, managing project teams, and establishing in vitro assays related to vascular health. Prior to their work at Novo Nordisk, Anna worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge after completing their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biomedical Sciences with a specialization in ageing and cardiovascular biology at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
