April Cook

April Cook is an accomplished scientist currently serving as a Principal Scientist at Novo Nordisk since October 2023. Prior work includes roles as Associate Director, Senior Scientist, and Manager of Research at the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation from September 2021 to October 2023, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Ichan School of Medicine, Mount Sinai, from September 2017 to September 2021. Additionally, April Cook held the position of Research Fellow at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute between April 2015 and September 2017, and was a Graduate Student at Harvard University from August 2006 to April 2015, where a Doctor of Philosophy in Genetics was earned. Earlier experience includes serving as Project Supervisor of the Genome Closure group at the Broad Institute from November 1999 to August 2006, and obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the Rochester Institute of Technology from 1996 to 1999.
