Onboarding director for Pioneering Initiatives at Novo

Steve Hoke has been working in the non-profit sector since 1991, when they began their role as a Strategic Life Coach and People Development Specialist at NOVO (formerly Church Resource Ministries--CRM). In this role, they provided alongside coaching to team leaders working in religious non-profits around the world, specializing in helping emerging and mid-career leaders discover their identity profile. In 2020, Steve began their current role as Onboarding Director for Pioneering Initiatives at Novo.

Steve Hoke began their educational journey in 1967 when they earned a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communications and Secondary Education from Wheaton College (IL). Steve then continued their studies at Wheaton Graduate School and received a M.A. in Cross-Cultural Communication and Research in 1971. In 1973, they obtained a M.Div. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Cross-Cultural Communicatin. Finally, they completed their education in 1997 when they earned a Ph.D. from Michigan State University, College of Education in Adult Non-Formal Education.
