Michelle Holland

Michelle Holland, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CCP has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Michelle is currently working at Novolex as a Human Resources Director since October 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Human Resources Manager at Novolex from February 2019 to October 2022.

Before joining Novolex, Michelle worked at Engineered Floors, LLC as a Senior Human Resources Manager from November 2017 to February 2019. During their time there, they played a key role in transitioning manufacturing facilities and sales divisions into a well-established carpet manufacturer. Michelle streamlined processes, aligned compensation plans, policies, and procedures, and established best practices for the merged manufacturing operations.

Michelle also gained valuable experience at Beaulieu America where they held multiple roles. From October 2014 to November 2017, they worked as a Business Partner, Human Resources. Prior to that, they served as the Controller, Distribution & Trucking from December 2012 to October 2014, and as a Financial Analyst from October to December 2012.

Starting their career at Unum in 2000, Michelle held various positions over the years. Michelle served as an Expatriate & Compensation Program Manager from May 2011 to October 2012. Prior to that, they worked as the Director, Executive Compensation from July 2007 to May 2011, Manager, Financial Benefits Specialists from March 2007 to July 2007, Senior Financial Risk Consultant from December 2005 to March 2007, Portfolio Analyst from May 2003 to December 2005, and Financial Risk Consultant from August 2000 to May 2003.

With their extensive background in human resources, compensation, and financial analysis, Michelle brings a wealth of expertise to their current role as a Human Resources Director at Novolex.

Michelle Holland has a Master's degree in Accountancy from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Michelle has additional certifications including SPHR from the HR Certification Institute, SHRM-SCP from SHRM, and they are a Certified Public Accountant recognized by the Tennessee State Board of Accountancy. Michelle has also obtained the Certified Compensation Professional certification from World at Work.
