Nedim Hasanbegovic

Nedim Hasanbegovic, IntPE PMP has a wealth of experience in engineering and process technology. Nedim began their career as an Engineering Intern at Statoil in 2006 and 2007. In 2008, they joined Aker Solutions as a Lead Process Engineer, where they prepared Design Basis and Front End Engineering for off-shore and refinery air emissions abatement projects. In 2010, they joined BP as a Hydroprocessing Chemical Engineer and Process Engineer, where they formulated strategic R&D goals and spearheaded scale-up of synthetic crude oil refining technology, prepared Defenition of Technology documentation to underpin engineering studies and licensing proposals, and managed a portfolio of technology development projects within biomass gasification and synthetic fuels. In 2017, they joined W. R. Grace & Co. as a Sr. Process Development Engineer. In 2019, they joined Hazel Technologies, Inc. as a Supply Chain Director, Director Of Manufacturing, and Engineering Manager. Nedim is currently the Director of Process Technology & Engineering at Novoloop since 2022.

Nedim Hasanbegovic has an extensive education history. In 1999, they earned their High School Diploma from Trondheim Katedral Skole. From 2002 to 2008, they obtained their Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). In 2004, they were an exchange student at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Chemical Engineering. In 2007, they were a Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley in Chemical Engineering. In addition, Nedim Hasanbegovic has obtained several certifications, including a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS Supply Chain Council in 2022, a Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging for All from LinkedIn in 2020, a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from ASQ - World Headquarters in 2018, Data Science and Data Engineering from Data Science Dojo in 2017, a Chartered Engineer from Engineering Council in 2013, a Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute in 2016, a Chartered Chemical Engineer from Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), and an International Professional Engineer (IntPE) from Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).
