Vera Azevedo is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as a Compliance Manager at Novum Bank Group since September 2019, Vera previously held the position of Senior Analyst at the Malta Financial Services Authority from September 2017 to August 2019, focusing on banking conduct supervision. Additionally, Vera spent several years at Banco de Portugal as a Seconded National Expert in Conduct Supervision from October 2011 to June 2018 and began their career as a Financial Services Auditor at KPMG from September 2010 to September 2011. Vera holds a Master's degree in Management Control and Performance from Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and a Bachelor's degree in Management from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
