Andrew Smithson has extensive experience in food science and product development, currently serving as R&D Product Development Supervisor at Now Foods since July 2022. Previously, Andrew held roles at Mars as a Flavor Scientist specializing in cocoa and at Covance as a Research Associate. Andrew began academic training at Virginia Tech, where responsibilities included teaching and conducting research on microorganisms in food and health-promoting compounds. Andrew holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology from Virginia Tech.
