Jane Soon

Jane Soon has over 15 years of experience in accounting and finance. Jane started their career in 2006 as an Accounts Senior at Stone Forest, where they were responsible for compliance checking and verification of expenditure for SEA regional overseas centers as well as employee claims. In 2008, they joined HP as a Finance Associate. From 2009 to 2012, Jane worked as an Accounts Executive at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre and Déliciae Hospitality Management (DHM). In 2014, they became an Accountant at FASTrack Management Pte Ltd, where they managed the implementation of the accounting system, full set of accounts, financial reports, financial budgets and analysis, cash management, and other administrative duties. In 2013, they joined Sportmaster as an Accountant and managed a team of two Junior Accountants. In 2016, Jane was an Accountant for Startups & Social Enterprises at KEIRI. From 2020 to 2022, they were an On-Demand Accountant for Creatives and Innovators at Defind Consulting and is currently a Finance Manager at Circular (YC W22). At Circular, Jane oversees the accounting and financial operations, develops processes and workflows, and ensures compliance with financial best practices and reporting standards for both Singapore and Australia.

Jane Soon obtained their Certified Accounting Technician from ACCA in 2004-2005. Jane then went on to earn their Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Murdoch University in 2013-2015. Jane is currently working towards their Chartered Institute of Management Accountants Professional Qualification from CIMA, which they are expected to complete in 2024. Additionally, they obtained the Creativity at Work: A Short Course from Seth Godin certification from LinkedIn in July 2021.
