Cary Breese

Cary Breese is the CEO and founder of NowRx, a same-day pharmacy delivery service. Cary has over 25 years of experience in the technology and insurance industries.

Cary began their career in the insurance industry in 2003 when they founded Trafalgar Marine Insurance Services, Inc. Trafalgar was a technology-leveraged insurance service that developed software-based system and process for internet based quoting, underwriting and claims processing. The company was acquired by a large insurance conglomerate in 2010, generating an 18x return for investors.

In 2011, Cary founded GenieDB, a database tech company developing a database-as-a-service product (DBaaS) to automated the launching and management of developer applications in cloud and multi-cloud environments. The company shut down after several years of development and modest revenue generation.

In 2014, Cary founded NowRx, a same-day pharmacy delivery service that delivers medications within one hour. NowRx is headquartered in San Francisco and serves the Bay Area.

Cary Breese has a B.S.E.E. from Drexel University and Certificates in Leadership and Management from both Wharton Executive Education and MIT Sloan Executive Education. Cary is also a Casualty Actuarial Society Associate, meaning they have completed the CAS's curriculum of Economics, Corporate Finance, Applied Statistics and Financial Modeling.
