Scott Gellman

Scott Gellman is the current COO at Nowsta. Prior to this, they were the COO and CFO at Kurtosys Systems from January 2014 to December 2021. Scott was also the interim CFO at Signpost from January 2013 to December 2013, and the COO and CFO at MediaMorph from January 2013 to December 2014. From January 2012 to December 2013, they served as the AVP of Financial Strategy at Comverse, and prior to that they were a Manager at Zolfo Cooper from January 2008 to December 2011.

Throughout their career, Scott has been responsible for global finance, delivery, engineering, infrastructure, business operations, support, legal, human resources and talent acquisition functions. Scott has helped increase revenue by 4x, gross margin by 15x, and headcount by 2x. Scott has also achieved cash flow generation and profitability, increased retention from 50% to 95%+, and improved ranking on Glassdoor from 2.5 to 4.2.

After receiving their MBA from Duke University, Scott Gellman worked in various business and economics roles. Scott eventually became a business professor at UC Santa Barbara, where they currently teach.
