Cathie Lockwood has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Cathie began their career in 1974 as a QA Lab Technician at Cathie Lockwood. Cathie then moved on to Norwich Pharmaceuticals, where they held various positions including Quality Systems Department Manager, Manager Customer Service/Logistics, and Director, Technical Services. In 2006, they returned to Norwich Pharmaceuticals as Director, Customer Service/Logistics. In 2009, they joined NPI and took on roles such as Director Quality Assurance, Senior Quote System Manager, and QA Operations Manager. Currently, they work at Norwich Pharmaceuticals as a Quality Assurance Operations Manager.

Cathie Lockwood attended Whitney Point High School from 1967 to 1971, where they earned a Reagents Diploma in Mathematics and Science. Following that, they studied at SUNY Broome Community College from 1971 to 1973, obtaining an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Medical Technology.
