Liz Rector

Liz Rector has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and communications. Liz currently works at National Storage Affiliates as the Head Copywriter and Email Specialist, where they write copy for various platforms and manages elements of the company's website. Prior to this, they worked as a Brand Specialist at the same company.

Before joining National Storage Affiliates, Liz worked as a Marketing Specialist at Parsonex Capital Partners, where they wrote B2B and B2C facing copy and utilized their graphic design skills. Liz also utilized Salesforce and Constant Contact for communication purposes.

Liz also has experience as a Copywriter at ARAPAHOE COUNTY WATER AND WASTEWATER AUTHORITY, where they handled internal and external communication and prepared materials for meetings.

Earlier in their career, Liz worked as a Marketing Specialist at Star Furniture & Mattresses, where they wrote copy for various marketing materials and managed social media and website. Liz also researched competitors and industry news.

Liz also worked as a Marketing Advertising Specialist at The Carson Group and as a Communications Intern at Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.

Liz Rector holds a Master's degree in Publishing from the University of Denver, which they completed in 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Ad/PR from Texas Christian University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their academic qualifications, Liz also obtained a certification as an American Mensa Member from the American Mensa institution in June 2022.
