Duncan Hughes is a Senior Journalist at the Australian Financial Review, a position held since January 2004, following a career shift from tram conductor to journalism in 1980. With extensive journalistic experience spanning Europe, Asia, and the USA, Duncan also works on personal finance and property matters as a journalist with the AFR since January 2003. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Economics and Politics, and a graduate cadetship in journalism from Monash University.
