Bryn Rees

Bryn Rees currently serves as a Board Member and Co-Principal Investigator at NSF ENGINES: Colorado-Wyoming Climate Resilience Engine since February 2024. At the University of Colorado Boulder, Bryn has held multiple roles including Associate Vice Chancellor for Research & Innovation, Managing Director of Venture Partners, and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Research & Innovation since October 2016. Additionally, Bryn is an Investment Advisory Board Member at Buff Gold Ventures and a Board Member of the Colorado BioScience Association, with involvement in both since January 2022 and November 2016, respectively. Previously, Bryn held various positions at the University of Colorado's Technology Transfer Office from 2009 to 2016, including Interim Director, Associate Director, and Senior Licensing Manager. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Officer for Tech Transfer at The University of British Columbia and an Associate in R&D Alliances at GSK. Bryn's educational background includes a Master's in Biotechnology from the University of Toronto, a Master's in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University, and a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Victoria.
