Mairead Ennis

Mairead Ennis has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mairead started their career as the Head of Careers at Slemish College in 2004 and held this role until 2010. In 2011, they joined Mount St Benedict College, where they took on multiple roles including Innovation Lead, House Coordinator, and Assistant Principal, Dean of Students (Acting). Mairead continued working at Mount St Benedict College until 2021. In 2021, they transitioned to Sydney Catholic Schools, where they worked as a Transition Coordinator until 2023. Currently, they are employed as the Stakeholder Engagement Lead/Change Specialist at the NSW Department of Education, a position they started in 2023. Overall, Mairead Ennis has a strong background in education and has experience in various leadership roles, innovation, and stakeholder engagement.

Mairead Ennis has a diverse education history, with a focus on counseling and education. In 2021, they completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Counselling (Positive Psychology) at Excelsia College. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Leadership at Ulster University. In 2003, Mairead obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Ulster University, specializing in Secondary Education and Teaching. Mairead began their academic journey in 2000 at Queen's University Belfast, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History and Politics. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with Honors in History and Politics from the same institution. This education background demonstrates Mairead's commitment to both counseling and education. Mairead further enhanced their knowledge and skills by earning the Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner certification from Prosci in July 2023.
