Liam Getreu

Liam Getreu is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Communications Director for the Hon. Courtney Houssos MLC within the NSW Government since May 2023. Prior to this role, Liam was the Executive Director of Communications, Strategy & Policy at NIF from January 2013 to April 2023, where leadership in media strategy and relationship building across government entities contributed to significant fundraising for human rights initiatives. Earlier in Liam's career, a position as Research Analyst at ANZ was held in 2009. Liam's academic background includes an Executive Master of Arts from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Arts in Middle East Studies from Deakin University.
