Joaquim (Joca) Mattos

Joaquim (Joca) Mattos has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Joaquim (Joca) began their career in 1997 as the European IT Manager at Chem-Trend Deutschland GmbH, where they were responsible for overseeing IT operations in Germany and other European locations.

In 2000, Joaquim founded Multimake Tecnologia Ltda, where they served as a Partner and Technical Director, developing an ERP package called SM/2 for small to mid-size businesses. Joaquim (Joca) also worked as an IT Architect at BRQ Solucoes Em Informatica, supporting procurement services at IBM IGA.

From 2007 to 2015, Joaquim worked as an Enterprise Solutions Architect at IBM, participating in various projects and gaining substantial growth in their career. Joaquim (Joca) then joined Multimake as a Partner and Technical Director again, where they established new business areas and provided IT infrastructure support.

In 2018, Joaquim joined Stefanini as a Senior Software Engineer, co-authoring a web/mobile application for electrical equipment maintenance. Joaquim (Joca) later worked at NTConsult as a Senior Solutions Architect, assisting clients with business challenges and process automation.

Joaquim's recent experience includes roles at Bees Brasil as a System Architect, where they were responsible for the digital transformation and e-commerce platform deployment for Ambev, and at MultiX IT Solutions as a Principal Architect, leading a team to revamp an ERP system for Ti9 Sistemas.

Currently, they hold the position of Solutions Architect Manager and Consultant at NTConsult, specializing in AI/ML/BPM and working as a Senior Architect focusing on AI, ML, and complex architectures.

Joaquim (Joca) Mattos completed their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas between 1988 and 1991. Joaquim (Joca) then pursued a specialization in Software Engineering and Distributed Systems from USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2000 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Joca also obtained several certifications. In 2018, they received the IBM Certified Solution Architect certification from IBM. Two years prior, in 2016, they obtained the ABET Program Evaluator certification from ABET. In 2011, Joca earned the Certified IT Architect certification from IBM.
