Travis King Thomas

Travis King Thomas has a diverse work experience history. Travis started as an intern at Hearst in 2011 before transitioning to a security officer role at Tishman Speyer in 2013. From 2014 to present, Travis has been with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, initially working as a customs officer and later becoming a chaplain. In 2018, they also took on the role of a union official at the National Treasury Employees Union, serving as a vice president initially and then becoming the chapter president in 2022. Currently, they are a chaplain at the International Fellowship of Chaplains, starting in 2023.

Travis King Thomas received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from John Jay College (CUNY) between 2007 and 2012. Travis also pursued Digital Marketing at Simplilearn Alumni from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, Travis obtained various certifications including Google IT Support and Digital Marketing from Coursera, as well as SEO, HubSpot Email Marketing, Inbound Certified, and other certifications from institutions such as HubSpot, Simplilearn Alumni, and Hootsuite. Travis is expected to receive the Google Cyber Security certification in 2023.
