Santosh Upadhyay

Santosh Upadhyay is an experienced professional in human resources, currently serving as the Deputy General Manager of Human Resources at NTPC Limited since June 2019. Responsibilities include oversight of the Policy & Wages Group, focusing on HR policy formulation and compensation and benefits. Previously, Santosh held the position of Sr. Manager (HR-Policy & Wages) at NTPC LTD. from April 2014 to June 2019, where the role involved HR policy formulation and implementation, MOU development, performance-related payments, and employee compensation structures. Early career experience includes working as a Senior Executive in HR at Sahara India between September 2002 and July 2005, and undergoing training as a Lieutenant at the Indian Military Academy in 2000. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Marketing and HR from the University of Allahabad and a Bachelor of Science degree from KNIPSS, Sultanpur.
