Muhammed Kafi Cifci

Muhammed Kafi Cifci, PhD, is a Research Scientist at Ntrepid LLC, where involvement in the Machine Intelligence Research and Applications (MIRA) group includes research on natural language processing and machine learning for estimating behavioral constructs from unstructured text. Prior to joining Ntrepid in January 2023, Muhammed served as a Predoctoral Research Associate in the Center for Social Data Analytics at Penn State University from August 2018 to December 2022, and held various roles including Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Additionally, experience includes research assistance at the University of Rochester in the Political Science Department and teaching support in the Mathematics and Economics Departments. Muhammed obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science and Social Data Analytics from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Research in Political Science and Economics from the University of Rochester.
