Rachel Yu

Rachel Yu is an AI Engineer at NTT Ltd. since January 2023, with a strong background in software development and research. Previously, Rachel served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Calgary, where optimized neural networks were developed for industry applications and extensive drone image databases were utilized to enhance model accuracy. Rachel also held roles as a Software Developer at GNO-SYS Technology Ltd., implementing cloud features and orchestrating container management, and as a Software Test Engineer at Baidu, Inc., where significant improvements to service performance were achieved. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Zhengzhou University, Rachel developed face recognition systems and worked on robot navigation. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Zhengzhou University.
