Nestor Gonzales Jr.

Nestor Gonzales Jr. has over 20 years of work experience in various roles in the technology industry. Nestor started their career as a Programmer Analyst at Microwarehouse Inc. in 2001, where they handled projects in the retail business industry. Nestor then worked as a Senior Software Developer and Database Administrator/Software Engineer at Advanced Contact Solutions, Inc. from 2004 to 2007, where they managed telecommunications, internet service provider, and pay TV projects.

In 2007, Nestor joined the Building and Construction Authority as a Senior Software Engineer, gaining exposure in architecture, logistics, and engineering industries. Nestor then moved to NCS Group in 2010 as a Senior Application Consultant, where they specialized in project management in the financial service industry and developed integrated web services.

Continuing their career progression, Nestor joined Boston Fund Direct in 2010 as a Senior Application Consultant - Team Lead, managing project work plans and coordinating regional and global project implementation. After that, they worked at R Systems as a Senior Application Consultant from 2011 to 2013.

Since 2013, Nestor has been working at NTUC Income as a Senior Software Engineer - Lead. In this role, they are responsible for delivering enhancements to the insurance core application, managing product launches, and collaborating with clients to understand their business goals.

Throughout their career, Nestor has demonstrated strong technical and project management skills, as well as a focus on delivering customer-driven solutions.

Nestor Gonzales Jr. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines between 1997 and 2001. Nestor also has additional certifications in Front-End Web UI Frameworks and Tools: Bootstrap 4, and What is Data Science? from Coursera in 2021.
