Nu Quantum
Ben Walker-Pearl is a Senior Optics Engineer at Nu Quantum since June 2023, following a role as Consultant Physicist at TTP plc from July 2020 to June 2023. Previously, Ben conducted research as a PhD Student at Imperial College London from October 2015 to July 2020 and completed a policy internship at CSaP - Centre for Science and Policy, University of Cambridge in late 2018, focusing on workshops that bridged academia and policy-making. Earlier research experience includes a position as a Summer Research Student at Stanford University in 2014, where simulations of band structures in CdTe quantum wells were conducted, as well as a summer program at Land Instruments International in 2012. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Controlled Quantum Dynamics from Imperial College London, an MRes in Controlled Quantum Dynamics from the same institution, and an MSci in Physics from the University of Cambridge.
