Melinda Marion

Melinda Marion serves as the Director of Business Development for NUAIR-Michigan, a position held since 2021, contributing to the operations of the FAA-designated UAS Test Site and the newly established Center of Excellence. Prior to this role, Melinda was the Director of Business Development at Michigan Unmanned Aerial Systems Consortium from 2018 to 2021, actively supporting flight operations and serving on the Michigan Unmanned Aircraft Systems Task Force. Melinda's extensive experience includes roles in intellectual property management and technology transfer at various organizations, including Eastern Michigan University, Magna International, General Dynamics, and Veridian Systems. With a B.S. in Aviation from Eastern Michigan University and a background in information technology, Melinda combines expertise in business development and intellectual property within the unmanned aerial systems sector.
