Rafael Wowk

Rafael Wowk is an experienced professional in regulatory affairs and public policy, currently serving as the Head of Regulatory Affairs at Nubank since June 2018, also holding previous positions within the company including Public Policy Sr. Manager and Public Policy Manager. Prior to Nubank, Rafael was a Partner and Associate at Ayres Britto Consultoria Jurídica e Advocacia from September 2015 to June 2018, and a Clinic Student at the Brennan Center for Justice, where involvement included tracking legislation related to campaign finance and anti-corruption. Additional roles include serving as a Special Advisor for political reform at Instituto Atuação and working as Legal Counsel for the Câmara dos Deputados, providing legal advice on various issues. Rafael holds advanced degrees from New York University School of Law, the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, and completed undergraduate studies at Universidade Federal do Paraná and UNICURITIBA.
