Ashok Bruno has worked in the software engineering industry for over 30 years. Ashok began their career in 1991 as a Development Engineer at NTTF Electronics Center. From 1992 to 1996, they worked as an Engineer at Measurements and Controls India Ltd. In 1996, they became the Managing Partner of Ashok Engineering Services, where they were involved in the design and commissioning of a gas-fired system for industrial boilers. In 2000, they joined Integrated Network Corporation as a Member of Technical Staff. From 1999 to 2022, they worked at Teledyne LeCroy in various roles, including Sr. Software Engineering Manager, Software Engineering Manager - Core Group, Software Engineering Manager - Embedded Technology Group, and Manager - Acquisition System Software Group. During their time at Teledyne LeCroy, they designed and developed several WDF Device Drivers for PCIe and USB devices, consulted on system architecture of data acquisition system projects, worked on remote control of the oscilloscope using TCPIP, USBTMC, and LXI11 protocols, managed the team and project to port existing Windows code base to Linux, managed a team of engineers in remote locations with diverse backgrounds, designed and developed software for FlowScanner QL for Emerson through Teledyne Test Services, managed software team to control and calibrate oscilloscope, and wrote embedded software in C/C++ and RTOS like VxWorks. In 2022, they joined Nubis Communications as a Principal Software Architect.
Ashok Bruno attended the NTTF Electronics Center from 1987 to 1991, where they studied Electronics. Ashok has since obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including Scrum: The Basics and Transitioning from Waterfall to Agile Project Management in August 2021, as well as Learning Python, Learning Windows Terminal, and Unit Testing in Python in June 2021.
