Adam George

Adam George has worked in a variety of roles in the finance industry since 1991. Adam began their career as a Chartered Accountant at Coopers & Lybrand in Bristol. Adam then moved on to Allied Domecq plc as a Group Financial Accountant in 1995. In 1997, they joined Helphire Group plc as a Group Financial Controller. From 2001 to 2007, they were the Finance Director at 4Com, and then the UK Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer, and Company Secretary/Financial Controller at GW Pharmaceuticals plc. From 2018 to 2021, they held Non Executive Director roles at NuCana plc and Beckley Psytech, and in 2021 they became the Founder/CEO of PsiClone Ltd. Adam is currently the Non Executive Director of Kanna Health.

Adam George studied Biology at the University of Bristol from 1988-1991, graduating with a BSc. Prior to that, they attended King Edward VI School, Birmingham from 1981-1988. Adam also holds a Chartered Accountant certification from the INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS IN ENGLAND AND WALES, which they obtained through the ICAEW.
