Romain Giacalone has worked in a variety of roles in the vacation rental and hospitality sectors since 2013. Theirfirst role was as a Vacation Rental Marketing & Storytelling expert at Docteur Folimage. In 2016, they became CEO & Founder of StayInProvence Property Management Company and also began working as a Marketing and Business Developer at BookingSync. In 2018, they worked as a SEO & Inbound Marketing and Business Developer - Europe (mission) at PriceLabs, as well as a Business Development Manager France (mission) at Nuki Home Solutions GmbH. In 2020, they were a Communication Campaign for LuggageHero, and in 2021, they became Business Development Manager France for Roomonitor and Business Developer for Yaago. Additionally, since 2016, they have been a Teacher at IMPGT - Territorial Marketing at the University of Aix-Marseille, and in 2015, they were an Airbnb Workshops & Meetups Animation.

Romain Giacalone attended EICAR from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained a 2 années spécialisation Réalisation Cinématographique degree in the field of Étude du cinéma. In March 2020, they also obtained a Hubspot Sales certification from HubSpot.
