Pavlos Kazakopoulos

Pavlos Kazakopoulos has a background in data science and research. Pavlos began their career as a research scientist at the University of Athens in 2006 and worked there until 2009. In 2008, they joined Collective Sensing Research as a data scientist. In 2012, they became a lecturer at Z_GIS - Department of Geoinformatics, University of Salzburg. Currently, Pavlos is working as the Chief Data Scientist at Numerico Technologies, a position they have held since 2016.

Pavlos Kazakopoulos completed their education in Physics. Pavlos received a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon in 2000. Pavlos later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2005.
