Paola de Marco has a diverse work experience in the retail and business development fields. From 2017 to the present, they have worked for NuORDER by Lightspeed, where they have held the positions of Director of Retail Client Experience and Director of Customer Success in the Retail Partnerships department. In these roles, Paola has been responsible for driving engagement, adoption, and overall success on the platform for exclusive retailer partnerships. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2017, Paola worked for Le Souk - The Premier Textile Sourcing Platform. Here, they held various roles, including Director of Business Development, Product and Data Manager, Business Development Manager, and Account Manager. During their time at Le Souk, they developed new business, established strategic relationships, managed trade show partnerships, and analyzed user experience to develop new product features.

Paola de Marco's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) in International Trade and Marketing for the Apparel Industry from the Fashion Institute of Technology, earned from 2013 to 2014. Paola also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Fashion | Apparel Design from the same institution, obtained from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree Program in Fashion | Apparel Design at Parsons School of Design - The New School, completing it from 2007 to 2009. Paola de Marco also holds a certification in Entrepreneurship from Cornell University, obtained in June 2021.
