Ashley Cox Collins has a diverse range of work experience in the fashion industry. Ashley began their career as a PR/Fashion intern at Tocca in 2007, where they supported administrative tasks and assisted with photo shoots and press releases. Ashley then worked as a Stylist & Store/Designer Director at STRUT Fashion Show/Production, where they communicated the theme and mission of the show and acted as a liaison between the committee, stores, and designers.

In 2008, Ashley served as an Assistant Buying Intern at SYMS, where they successfully entered purchase orders, assisted on buying trips, and performed administrative tasks. Ashley also worked as a Location Planning Analyst at Ross Stores, Inc., developing pre-season and in-season plans for multiple regions and stores and revising plans based on performance analysis.

Ashley gained extensive buying and planning experience at Saks Fifth Avenue, starting as an Assistant Planner and progressing to roles such as Senior Assistant Buyer, Associate Buyer, and Buyer in various departments. Their responsibilities included managing inventory, pricing, and promotions for American Designer, Bridal, Evening, Designer Lifestyle, and Wear Now categories.

Ashley's most recent role was as a Merchandise Director at Olivela, where they launched new brands, created category strategies, and drove sales growth in jewelry and designer RTW categories. Ashley also led marketing initiatives, developed customer retention strategies, and collaborated with non-profits for charitable events and donations.

Currently, Ashley is working as a Retail Client Director at NuORDER by Lightspeed, where they are responsible for managing client relationships in the retail industry.

Ashley Cox Collins attended Virginia Commonwealth University from 2005 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Merchandising, with a minor in Marketing. Prior to that, they briefly attended East Carolina University in 2004. In 2018, Ashley obtained a certification in the HBC Leadership Journey from Hudson's Bay Company.
