Randa Abbas

Randa Abbas has a diverse work experience in the medical and research field. From 2022 onwards, Randa has been working as a Scientific Manager at Nurami Medical. Prior to this, Randa held the position of VP R&D at BioChange from 2019 to 2021. From 2016 to 2019, Randa worked as a Senior Manager in New Product Development at Enzymotec, where they also served as the R&D Team Leader from 2014 to 2016. Before joining Enzymotec, Randa worked at Juvenis as the Chief Chemist and Lab Manager, focusing on the development of biodegradable gels for medical applications.

Randa Abbas obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2001. Randa continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Organic Chemistry in 2006. Randa Abbas further pursued their studies at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Applied Chemistry in 2011.
