Olivier Joly

Olivier Joly is the Head of Supply Chain & Strategic Partner Lead at Nuro. Olivier has over 10 years of experience in supply chain management and has worked with some of the biggest companies in the world including Apple, Rheinmetall Automotive AG, and Faiveley Transport.

Olivier started their career as a Junior Sourcing Leader (Trainee Program) at GE Healthcare. Olivier then transitioned to Faiveley Transport where they became a Commodity Buyer. While at Faiveley Transport, Olivier was responsible for purchasing doors systems, pneumatic & hydraulic brakes, and mechanical parts for Freight and Transit activities. Olivier was able to successfully negotiate, source, and develop products through strategic suppliers management.

In 2012, Olivier left Faiveley Transport to join Apple as a Senior Global Supply Manager. Olivier spent the next 7 years at Apple, overseeing the Camera & Optics supply chain from 2016-2019 and the Semi-Conductors supply chain from 2013-2016. Olivier was also responsible for the Capital Equipment supply chain when they first joined Apple in 2012.

In 2019, Olivier left Apple to join Nuro as the Head of Supply Chain & Strategic Partner Lead.

Olivier Joly graduated from the Lycée Bernard Palissy in France before attending the ESSCA Ecole de management, where they earned their Master in International Business. Olivier later completed a Six Sigma Black Belt certification at the University of Southern California.

Olivier Joly reports to Jiajun Zhu, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Jonathan Lydon - Head of Recruiting, Riley Soward - Product Operations Manager, and Alden Woodrow - Chief of Staff.
