Shuvam Chakraborty is a dedicated software engineer with a focus on perception, currently employed at Nuro since April 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a machine learning researcher at the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (SAIL) under Professor Stefano Ermon, where Shuvam contributed to research in graphical models, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and computer vision from February 2020 to June 2021. Additionally, Shuvam served as a teaching assistant for the CS 228 course on Probabilistic Graphical Models at Stanford University in early 2021. Previous internships include quantitative research at QuantCo, machine learning at Ouster, and data science with the Seattle Mariners. Shuvam holds a Master of Science in Statistics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical and Computational Science, both from Stanford University, complemented by an educational background at Berkshire School, The Pingry School, and Rutgers Preparatory School.
