Heidi Ochoa

Heidi Ochoa, BSN, RN, CAPA, is an experienced nursing professional currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at the Community College of Denver and a Pre-Op Charge Nurse at Porter Hospital, both since August 2023. With a strong background in pre-operative nursing, Heidi has held various roles at Porter Hospital and Lutheran Medical Center, conducting patient assessments, administering care, and providing education. Previous experience includes contributions as a Nursing Blog Contributor for Nursing CE Central and roles in nursing at Centura Health, Kindred Healthcare, and others. Heidi holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Arapahoe Community College, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from UCLA.
