Joanna Fox has extensive work experience in various senior roles related to human resources and organizational development. Joanna is currently employed as the Head of People Services at The Nursing and Midwifery Council since 2023. Prior to that, they held positions at the Department for Transport (DfT), where they served as the Head of Reward and Arms-Length Bodies from 2019 to 2023 and as the Values Lead from July 2019 to December 2019. Before joining DfT, Joanna worked as a Senior Reward Consultant at CSEP - Civil Service Employee Policy from 2016 to 2019. Joanna also has experience as an HR Business Partner at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) from 2015 to 2016 and as an HR Policy and Reward Consultant at the UK Ministry of Defence from 2013 to 2015. In these roles, Joanna has been responsible for implementing reward strategies, leading change management initiatives, and supporting employee well-being.
Joanna Fox earned a Bachelor's degree in French Studies from The University of Manchester in 2013. In 2011, they also completed a year abroad program at Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III). Joanna furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Aston Business School in 2016. Joanna has also received additional certifications including Chartered MCIPD from CIPD and Level 5 Coaching and Mentoring from ILM. Joanna has also completed The APM Project Management Qualification from APM, although the specific dates of completion for these certifications are not provided.
