Jake Harriman

Jake Harriman has an extensive and diverse work experience, starting with their role as Founder and CEO of More Perfect Union, a citizen-led movement aimed at healing the divide in America. Jake also founded Nuru International, an organization focused on eradicating extreme poverty in fragile, remote regions. Additionally, Harriman worked as an Academy Master Practitioner at Unusual Ventures, a venture capital firm, and as a Keynote Speaker and Leadership Trainer at Leading Authorities, Inc. Jake currently serves as a Senior Advisor at McChrystal Group and as a Keynote Speaker and Expert Facilitator at Team Performance Institute LLC. Harriman is also a Council Member at NationSwell and a Defense Council Member at Truman National Security Project. Prior to their entrepreneurial and leadership roles, they served as a Platoon Commander in the 1st Force Reconnaissance Company and the 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, where they led combat operations during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Jake Harriman attended the United States Naval Academy from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained their bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering. Jake then went on to attend Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2006 to 2008, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
