Leo Szeto

Leo Szeto has over a decade of work experience in various roles in the engineering field. Leo is currently the Director of Control Systems & Electrical Engineering at Nusano, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Control Systems Engineer at the same company from October 2020 to March 2022. Leo also worked as a Scientific Controls Engineer at Nusano from October 2019 to October 2020.

Before joining Nusano, Leo worked as a Software Systems Engineer at AMADA MIYACHI AMERICA from March 2017 to September 2019. Leo gained valuable experience in the engineering field during their time at Walt Disney Imagineering, where they served as a Ride Controls Software Systems Engineer from July 2014 to June 2016 and as an Associate Ride Controls Software Engineer from April 2012 to July 2014. Leo's work at Walt Disney Imagineering involved developing large PLC software for a roller coaster system and leading a team for safety critical control system testing.

In addition to their industry experience, Leo was also involved in student organizations during their time at IEEE Student Branch UCLA from June 2010 to June 2012. Leo served as the President of the organization and founded the UCLA IEEE OPS Program, where they handled logistics and education programs for the student branch. Leo also worked as an Electrical Engineer at Topanga Technologies from June 2011 to April 2012 and as a QA Software Intern at Symantec from June 2010 to June 2011.
