John Koenig

John Koenig has a strong background in engineering and project management. John began their career at TXU Energy in 1999 as a Comanche Peak SES system engineer. John then worked at Carter & Burgess as a Mechanical Engineer from 2000 to 2002. After that, they joined CPS Energy as an Operations Engineer in 2002. John worked at SE Jacobs as an Engineering Project Manager from 2003 to 2012. From 2012 to 2013, they worked at Core Engineering LLC as a Project Manager. John then moved to SE Jacobs again as a Refinery EPC Project Manager from 2013 to 2013. In 2013, they also worked at Furmanite America as a General Manager. Since 2014, they have been working at NuStar Energy L.P., first as a Sr. Manager - Operations and Energy Optimization Engineering, then as Director - Region Engineering. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President Of Engineering at NuStar Energy L.P.

John Koenig attended Texas A&M University from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. John then went on to attend Southwest Texas Junior College for Flight School, specializing in General Aviation. In 2004, John obtained the Texas Registered Professional Engineer certification from TBPE.
