Martijn van Den Donker

Martijn van den Donker has extensive experience in the agricultural commodities sector, currently serving as Global Purchaser for Royal De Heus since September 2019, where Martijn leads the global purchasing of protein needs across approximately 70 countries. Previously, Martijn held the position of Commercial Manager at Bunge from March 2017 to August 2019, overseeing commercial activities for Bunge Netherlands bv. Prior experience at Cargill from April 2008 to February 2017 included roles as Merchandising Manager for the Benelux Soy complex and Merchant, focusing on risk management and merchandising. Earlier, Martijn worked as a Junior Trader and Commercial Management Trainee at Cargill and completed an internship at Rabo Securities. Martijn holds a Master’s degree in Finance & Investments from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, and a Master’s degree in Public Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam, alongside graduate-level studies at Indiana University Bloomington in Public Management.
