Aleksandar Marković

Aleksandar Marković, FCCA, CMA has work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Most recently, they worked at Nutreco as the Finance Director Global Supply Point, where they were responsible for monitoring and driving the performance objectives and targets of the business unit, as well as ensuring compliance. Prior to that, they served as the Finance Business Partner for Global Operations and Procurement, creating business cases and conducting financial analysis.

Before joining Nutreco, Aleksandar worked at The Kraft Heinz Company as a Global Center of Excellence - Accounting Senior Analyst. In this role, they oversaw management reporting and the cash repatriation process, and played a key role in budgeting and forecasting.

Earlier in their career, Aleksandar gained experience at KPMG Netherlands, where they served as a Supervisor and Senior. Their responsibilities included developing management reporting models, preparing financial statements, and providing advisory services. Aleksandar was also involved in project management and leading and training team members.

Prior to their time at KPMG, Aleksandar worked at NIS a.d. Novi Sad as a management reporting and planning expert, preparing reports for company management and monitoring key performance indicators. Aleksandar also worked at Roaming Electronics d.o.o. as a Financial Controller, responsible for financial reporting and analysis, cash flow forecasting, and communication with banks.

Aleksandar started their career at KPMG Serbia as a Senior Audit Assistant and later as an Audit Junior. Aleksandar was involved in a reorganization project for a state-owned power utility company and gained experience in auditing.

Throughout their career, Aleksandar has demonstrated strong financial analysis skills, experience in preparing financial statements, and expertise in management reporting and planning.

Aleksandar Marković, FCCA, CMA, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Auditing from the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Belgrade, which they completed from 2008 to 2012. Aleksandar is also a Member of ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), having completed this qualification from 2014 to 2017. In 2019, they became a Member of the Institute of Management Accountants, specializing in Accounting and Business/Management. Additionally, in 2021, Aleksandar obtained the certification of Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
