Kara Collier, RDN, CNSC has a diverse and expansive work experience. Kara is currently the Co-Founder & VP of Health at Nutrisense since April 2022. Before that, they held the position of Co-Founder & Director of Nutrition at Nutrisense from July 2019 to April 2022.

Prior to their work at Nutrisense, Kara worked as a Nutrition Data Quality Manager at Nutritionix, a company under Syndigo, from June 2018 to November 2019. Kara also served as a Clinical Dietitian at Providence Hospital (Providence Health System) from September 2016 to June 2018. In this role, they specialized in critical care nutrition, implementing hospital-wide policies and providing nutrition education and counseling.

Kara's earlier experiences include working as a Dietetic Intern at the Memphis VA Medical Center from September 2015 to June 2016, where they gained expertise in clinical medical nutrition therapy. Kara also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Purdue University from August 2014 to May 2015, and as a Dietetic Intern at WIC from May 2013 to September 2013, where they assessed, diagnosed, and counseled clients on diet-related conditions.

Throughout their career, Kara has demonstrated their commitment to improving patient care, implementing policies and protocols, and expanding the scope of dietitians' practice. Kara has also engaged in research projects and presented their findings at professional meetings. Kara's work experience showcases their extensive knowledge and dedication to the field of nutrition.

Kara Collier, RDN, CNSC, holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Dietetics/Dietitian from Purdue University. Kara obtained their Registered Dietitian (RD) certification from The Commission on Dietetic Registration in July 2016. In May 2018, they became a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician. Additionally, they obtained a ServSafe certification in March 2014.
