Amina Atta is a seasoned professional in child health and nutrition with extensive experience in various roles within UNICEF and Nutrition International. Currently serving as a Senior Program Officer for Child Health and Nutrition at Nutrition International since July 2021, Amina previously held positions including Program Officer in Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health and Nutrition (MNCHN) and Nutrition Officer at UNICEF Nigeria from 2016 to 2020. Earlier roles included State Nutrition Consultant and Independent State Monitor for UNICEF, focusing on the establishment of management sites for severe acute malnutrition in Nigeria. Amina also contributed as an Assistant Researcher at Malaria Consortium, working on formative research related to malaria treatment. Educational credentials include a Master's in Public Health from the University of Roehampton and dual Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry from Bayero University, Kano.
