Janelle de Castro Rdn

Janelle De Castro, RDN, currently serves as a Registered Dietitian at Nutrition Therapy Essentials since June 2023. Prior experience includes a Dietetic Internship at Wellness Workdays from July 2022 to February 2023, and a position as a Barista at States Coffee and Bread, where exceptional customer service skills were developed. Janelle previously worked as a Nutrition Associate I/II at NorthBay Healthcare, facilitating meal distribution for over 100 patients daily and contributing to a 9% increase in patient satisfaction ratings. Other notable experiences include internships at the USDA Western Human Nutrition Research Center and Steinberg Lab, where Janelle focused on dietary studies and data analysis, respectively. Janelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Nutrition from the University of California, Davis, earned in 2020.
