Jonas Munk

Head Of Next Gen Data-driven It, Vice President at Nuuday

Jonas Munk has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Jonas began their career as an Assistant Controller at IBM Software Group Denmark in 2004 before moving on to roles such as Nordic Marketing Manager Assistant, where they were responsible for various marketing activities and processes.

Jonas later worked as a Project Manager in Instore Marketing at Clear Channel Danmark A/S, evaluating and advising on media plans for clients in the FMCG/retail industry. Jonas also worked as a Marketing Consultant, providing strategic and operational support to organizations in the Energy sector.

Munk then joined the Danish Design Centre as a Project Manager, focusing on customer journey and touchpoint management. Jonas organized courses and events on customer experience management and facilitated projects related to corporate branding and brand identity.

In 2011, Munk joined SAS as a Business Advisor and Senior Business Advisor, where they worked on solution design, data strategy development, and management consulting for large and mid-size companies in Denmark and the Nordics.

Jonas later joined TDC as the Head of Predictive Analytics, leading the development and execution of data science strategies and overseeing AI projects across all business areas. Jonas also served as the Director, Head of AI & Robotics, focusing on data science and RPA strategies.

Munk then worked at TDC Group as the Co-Head of Data & AI, Vice President, and later as the Head of Data & AI, Vice President (Tribe Lead), leading the separation and merger of BI applications, developing data strategies, and managing financial resources.

Currently, Munk holds the position of Head of Next Gen Data-Driven IT, Vice President at Nuuday, where they are responsible for group systems and platforms in the areas of data, BI, AI, and more. Jonas oversees a large number of applications and partners, streamlining processes and running group-wide transformation programs.

In addition to their corporate roles, Munk has also been involved in academia as an External Lecturer and External Teacher at Copenhagen Business School, where they taught courses on topics such as performance management, commercial management, and marketing communication management.

Jonas Munk completed their Bsc.int in Business administration and modern languages at Copenhagen Business School from 2003 to 2007. Jonas then pursued their Msc degree in Marketing Communication Management at the same institution from 2007 to 2009.
