John Carrithers

John Carrithers has over 17 years of experience in the clinical research industry. John began their career in 2004 as a Medical Program Clinical Specialist at Merck. In 2007, they joined Upsher-Smith Laboratories as a Senior Clinical Research Scientist. John then moved to Medtronic in 2011, where they held positions such as Clinical Program Manager, Clinical Research Manager, and Senior Clinical Research Manager. In 2019, they began working at Abbott as a Director of Clinical Research and Associate Clinical Program Director. John is currently employed at NUVAIRA, Inc. as a Senior Director of Clinical.

John Carrithers completed their Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Ohio University between 1992 and 1997. John then obtained a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from Ball State University between 1997 and 1999. Following this, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Physiology and Molecular Biophysics from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences between 1999 and 2003. Lastly, they completed a Post Doc from East Carolina University in 2004.
