Akshay Bhambure

Akshay Bhambure has a diverse work experience. Akshay started their career in 2012 as a Software Engineering Analyst at Accenture, where they developed the jBoss ESB layer for the Accenture Cloud Platform and business process models using jBoss BPM. In 2015, they joined Society of Automobile Engineers - Formula, Syracuse University as a Chief Engineer and Graduate Research Assistant. In this role, they assisted Prof. Jürgen Babirad with initial and final consultations and bid specifications and review for assistive driving controls (powered/mechanical) and vehicle modification consultation for New York State ACCES-VR, a vocational rehab program by the New York State Education Dept. Akshay also led research and mentored projects based on various assistive technologies and rehabilitation engineering at the Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology Lab. In 2016, they worked as a Software Developer Co-op Intern at Euphony Inc. and as a Product Manager, Product Owner and Senior Software Engineer at Thomson Reuters. Currently, they are working as a Senior Product Manager at Nuvalence since 2022.

Akshay Bhambure obtained their B.Tech in Electronics from Vishwakarma Institute Of Technology, Pune between 2008 and 2012. Akshay then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University between 2014 and 2016. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from Pragmatic Institute and Scrum Alliance, namely "Product Management Level I" in December 2021 and "Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)" in May 2019 respectively.
