Group Product Manager at Nuvalence

Amy Rumenapp has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Amy began their career in 1994 as a Chief Information Analyst at Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield. In this role, they were responsible for managing, developing, and implementing a database and web application in support of the Corporate Intranet, as well as developing numerous mainframe reporting programs to manage and report on claims processing. Amy also served as a Product Analyst, providing analytical and systems support for Medical Management and Provider Reimbursement with an emphasis on process improvement, database development, and project management.

In 2001, Amy joined IA Systems as a Team Leader. In this role, they managed a team of 5 Business Analysts for the new design of an enterprise .NET web based loan origination system. Amy was responsible for problem definition, project scope, requirements, design, usability, and collaborating with engineering to execute and deliver a high quality application.

In 2007, Amy returned to IA Systems as an IT Consultant. Two years later, they joined Buzz Media Solutions as a Project Manager, where they were responsible for driving product definition, planning, and managing business and user interface requirements for a startup web-based social platform.

In 2010, Amy became an IT Consultant at Bright Hub, where they wrote security and user interface automated tests using Selenium for a startup ASP.NET web application. Amy then joined CommerceHub in 2011 as Manager of Productivity Engineering & Support. In 2014, they were promoted to Product Manager, where they were accountable for strategy, roadmap planning, financial forecasting, feature prioritization, sales demos & proposals, implementations, defining product scope and iteration, and execution around their product line.

Most recently, Amy joined Nuvalence in 2021 as a Group Product Manager.

Amy Rumenapp obtained their Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of New Haven in 1993. In 2020, they obtained the Change Management Specialist (CMS) certification from the Management and Strategy Institute in June, the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May, and is currently pursuing the PMC-V certification from Pragmatic Marketing.
