Ram Seshadri MD, FACS has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Ram is currently working at Nuvance Health as a Hepatobiliary and Pancreas Surgeon, as well as serving as the Program Director for the surgery residency program at the Danbury campus. In 2021, they started working as a Clinical Assistant Professor at The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont and also took on the role of Student Clerkship Director. Prior to this, they were an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Campbell University, School of Osteopathic Medicine. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Novant Health as a Hepatobiliary and Pancreas Surgeon. Earlier in their career, they gained valuable experience as a fellow in Hepatobiliary and Pancreas Surgery at Atrium Health and as a Transplant Surgery Fellow at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Ram completed their residency in General Surgery at Baystate Health, Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, and Houston Methodist. Ram also served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Florida.

Ram Seshadri MD, FACS received their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Medicine from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute from 1996 to 2002. Prior to that, they attended DAV boys senior secondary school from 1984 to 1996. In addition, Ram Seshadri has obtained fellowship certifications from the Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association Inc, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons.
